Laser technology – complex laser engraving & demanding laser welding

Laser marking & laser engraving

Laser labeling – and marking are the high-precision, durable and unforgeable solution for all kinds of industrial fields. With our modern laser technology, we can process various materials like tool steel, aluminum, stainless steel and plastics without compromising the quality of the workpieces. We offer laser labeling – and marking of individual items up to short runs.

Fields of application:

  • type plates, machine labeling, tool marking
  • numbering respectively single part labeling
  • serial numbers, barcodes, QR codes
  • pictures and logos
  • filigree surface structures, complex 2D/3D contours

During the
laser labeling, the laser causes the surface material to evaporate. Thus, a deepening arises with a depth of up to multiple decimillimeters.

Another special service, that we offer is the tempering labeling. It is designed for abrasion-resistant labels without mechanical modifications. The local heating of the material employing laser energy provokes merely a color change. These kinds of labels can simply be removed by reheating the surface again.

Finally, we offer laser ablation also, where the laser removes a surface layer, thus a different-colored, underlying surface becomes visible.

We require the following conditions for a qualified offer and a fluent production sequence:

  • for laser labeling – and marking: data in file format DXF, STP, or STL
  • for tempering labeling and laser ablation: data in file format STP or STL

Laser welding & repair welding

Laser welding offers the unique possibility of to carry out repairs and corrections of a few tenths of a millimeter at sensitive points of mold inserts. The finest geometries can be processed without causing tool damage or material deformation. Pulsed laser welding is very versatile and suitable for a wide variety of materials, for example tool steel, stainless steel, aluminum, bronze and different material mixes.

Fields of applications:

  • repair of tools and molds
  • flexible adaptation to finest geometries
  • unifying existing surfaces
  • correction of dimensional errors
  • machining filigree conours
  • filled welds in hard reach places

Basic information:

  • max clamp size: 600 x 475 mm
  • max  machining surface: 490 x 400 x 350 mm
  • max workpiece weight: 300 kg

Precision without compromise
